Overview
After going to the toilet, sometimes, unhygienic marks are left on the side of the toilet bowl. These are usually cleaned off with some type of brush where the remnants of the marks can stay on the brush and amass further germs.
The Water Jet Toilet Cleaner is a fixture that will spray a jet of water at the marks on the toilet bowl, thus removing them to be then flushed away without any implement having to physically touch the marks. This method of cleaning marks off toilet bowls is far more hygienic than the brush method because of the lack of contact with the marks. Aesthetic in appearance and in a chrome colour would complement almost any bathroom suite.
The kit includes two different jet heads for the use of different water pressure systems.

Parts List

1 x Self Sinking Valve 1 x Water Jet Valve 1 x Wall Holder
1 x Water Jet Hose 2 x Jet Caps 3 x Rubber Washers

Tools you will need:- Medium-sized screwdriver; adjustable spanner, drill.

Fitting Instructions
It is not necessary to turn off the water supply but it is probably wise to do so.
Make sure that the self-boring tap is turned to the off position before fitting it, otherwise water will gush out when you cut into the supply pipe.

Stage 1 – Attach self cutting tap to cistern water inlet pipe.
1) Unscrew the self-boring tap from its saddle assembly.
2) Undo the two screws and put the back of the saddle behind the 15mm supply pipe where you wish to fit it.
3) Screw the two saddle pieces firmly together around the pipe, but not so tight as to compress the back washer or you might cut into it at step 4 and block the cutter.
4) Put the self-boring section of the tap into the saddle and turn clockwise by hand. Continue turning as the cutter bites into the pipe. The cut-out piece will fall down inside the pipe. Now firmly screw the saddle together from step 3.
5) When the tap is fully screwed in, it probably will not be vertical. Loosen it off and lock it in a vertical position by tightening the adjusting nut with a spanner.
 
Stage 2 – Attach Hose
1) Insert one of the rubber washers into one of the ends of the hose.
2) Screw the hose to the self cutting tap, hand tighten, do not use any sort of spanner to tighten.
Stage 3 – Attach Water Jet Valve
1) Insert one of the rubber washers into the other end of the hose.
2) Screw the hose to the Water Jet Valve, and hand tighten.
Stage 4 – Attach Jet Cap
There are two Jet Caps supplied, the smaller hole is for the high pressure systems and the larger for the low pressure as a guideline, but you can try both and use the one that suits you best.
1) Insert one of the rubber washers into the end of the Jet Cap.
2) Screw the Jet Cap to the Water Jet Valve, and hand tighten.
Stage 5 – Screw Wall Holder to wall
1) At a convenient height (above the self cutting tap) place the wall holder against the wall and mark the wall through the holes.
2) Drill the holes in the wall and put the wall plugs in the holes.
3) Re-address the holder and screw to the wall.

TIP: Leaks can be expensive, once fitted and turned on, check for any leaks on all the joints with a paper tissue and tighten any dribbles. Once satisfied, wrap some paper tissue around the base of mains water pipe and check the next day for any dampness (not condensation).

Pipes don’t last for ever: As with any hose these should be replaced periodically to avoid any bursts. Also if leaving the house for any length of time it is recommended that the self sinking tap be turned off.
